CSIR-IITR Recruitment 2026 Job Requirements / Nature of Job:

Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):
• Physical maintenance of office/guest house records
• Cleaning, dusting, and upkeep of office/guest house/sections
• Carrying files and documents
• Photocopying, scanning, binding, and filing of papers
• Receiving and delivering dak
• Opening and closing sections/offices
• Assisting in research & development activities
• Collection and remittance of guest house charges
• Attending staff/guest complaints, queries, and requirements
• Preparation and supply of tea/coffee/snacks
• Maintenance and upkeep of gardens and green spaces
• Any other task assigned by competent authority

Driver:
• Driving LMV & HMV vehicles for men/materials safely
• Vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and mechanical upkeep
• Scheduling repairs and keeping vehicle roadworthy
• Maintaining logbooks and records
• Liaising with office for vehicle bills, fast-tag, insurance renewal, etc.
