Logo Design Contest for PM Surya Ghar – Muft Bijli Yojana | MyGov Quiz

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in collaboration with MyGov invites creative individuals to participate in the Logo Design Contest for PM Surya Ghar – Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSG: MBY). This contest aims to design a logo that embodies the vision, purpose, and impact of the scheme, which focuses on providing rooftop solar systems to households, promoting clean energy access, affordability, and India’s commitment to sustainable and citizen-centric energy solutions. The contest is open to all citizens and completely free to participate.

Logo Design Contest Details

The PMSG scheme was launched on 13th February 2024 with a target of installing rooftop solar systems in 1 crore households by 2026-27, supported by subsidies of up to ₹78,000 per system and an overall outlay of ₹75,021 crores. The program is aligned with the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” vision and aims to generate domestic demand for 30 GW of solar cells and modules, boosting renewable manufacturing capabilities.

Logo Design Contest Expectation:

Capture the essence of the scheme – rooftop solar adoption, clean energy access, affordability, and citizen-centric sustainability.
Convey simplicity, clarity, and modernity – the logo should be recognisable, scalable, and visually communicate solar energy’s transformative role.
Reflect empowerment of households – showcasing savings, energy independence, and a clean, self-reliant energy future.

Logo Design Contest Technical Parameters:

Submit in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format only.
All fonts must be converted to Outlines/Curves.
High resolution, minimum 300 DPI.
Size: 15cm x 20cm.
Clean file with no pixelation at 100% magnification.
Designed on a digital platform; winner must submit in editable and open file format.
Suitable for website, social media, and print (black and white press releases, stationery, signage).
No imprint or watermark; design should be in color.

Logo Design Contest Criteria:

Entries will be evaluated by an internal committee constituted by MNRE.
Judged on creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, artistic merit, visual impact, and relevance to the objectives of PMSG: MBY.
The committee’s decision is final and binding; no correspondence or disputes will be entertained.
Disqualified entries will not be used, and MNRE holds no intellectual rights over them. Legal proceedings will be subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi State.

Submission Requirement:

Each entry must include a brief written explanation describing the logo, how it encapsulates the scheme, and a note on the design process from concept to completion, including color palettes, storyboarding, drafts, and graphical iterations.

Logo Design Contest Gratifications:

Prize Money: The winning entry will receive ₹1,50,000/- along with a certificate of recognition issued by the Mission Director, PMSG. The winner will also be reimbursed for a round-trip domestic economy airfare to New Delhi.
Consolation Awards: Ten (10) participants will receive ₹10,000/- each.

Visit the official contest page on MyGov for PM Surya Ghar – Muft Bijli Yojana.
Login using your MyGov account. If you do not have an account, register for free.
Read all guidelines, technical parameters, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements carefully.
Design an original logo that reflects the vision, purpose, and impact of the scheme, following the technical specifications: JPEG, PNG, or PDF format; 15cm x 20cm; 300 DPI; color; fonts converted to outlines.
Include a brief explanation describing the logo, its concept, and the design process, including color palettes, storyboarding, and graphical iterations.
Submit your logo and explanation on the MyGov contest page before the last date, 15 February 2026.
Ensure your submission is complete. A confirmation will be provided once your entry is successfully submitted.

Entries with watermarks or not meeting technical requirements will be disqualified.
Any use of unfair means will lead to disqualification.
