The “Ima Nongthangleima Yaipha Tengbang Scheme” was launched by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Manipur. Eligibility of Ima Nongthangleima Yaipha Tengbang Scheme:

1. The applicant should be a woman.
2. The applicant should be a resident of Manipur.
3. The applicant’s age should be 40 years and above.
4. The applicant should not be a beneficiary of any existing government scheme for individual beneficiaries.
5. The applicant should be living without any source of income/livelihood.
6. The applicant should be any one of the following:
♦ Widows
♦ Divorcees
♦ Separated Women
♦ Deprived and Marginalized Women such as ex-drug users, etc.
♦ Single Women
♦ Single Transgender Women
♦ Women belonging to low-income households and Other Marginalized Groups

Documents required for Ima Nongthangleima Yaipha Tengbang Scheme:

♦ Passport-size Photo.
♦ Aadhar Card (as proof of Identity).
♦ Certification that the applicant is not a beneficiary of any existing government schemes for individual beneficiaries (issued by the Panchayat or Municipality or District Council).
♦ Unemployment Certificate/Income Certificate (issued by Gazette Officer).
♦ Matriculation Certificate or Birth Certificate (as proof of age).
♦ Residence Certificate (issued by a Gazette Officer, with seal and signature).
♦ Bank Passbook.
