Airports Authority of India (AAI) Regional Headquarters, North Eastern Region invites applications from the eligible candidates who are DOMICILE of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura for the posts of Senior Assistant (Electronics), Junior Assistant (HR)
and Junior Assistant (Fire Services) for its various airports in North Eastern Region.

1. Name of Post: Senior Assistant (Electronics)
No of Post: 5
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience.
2. Name of Post: Junior Assistant (HR)
No of Post: 2
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline. (Candidates who qualify CBT must appear for Computer Literacy Test in MS Office.)
3. Name of Post: Junior Assistant (Fire Services)
No of Post: 7
Educational Qualification:
10th Pass with 3-year regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire Engineering OR 12th Pass (regular study).
Desirable: Computer Science at 12th level, NCC “B” Certificate, relevant fire service experience, AAI Fire Training, or Sub-Fire Officer Course.
Driving Licence: Valid HMV/MMV/LMV licence as per advertisement conditions.
Selection Process:
The selection process varies by post but primarily includes a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 2 hours.
- For Senior Assistant (Electronics), the CBT is followed by document verification and mandatory training (12 weeks Ab-Initio + 4 weeks OJT).
- For Junior Assistant (HR), candidates must qualify in the CBT and also pass a Computer Literacy Test in MS Office.
- For Junior Assistant (Fire Services), the process includes CBT, document and driving licence verification, medical test, driving test, and Physical Endurance Test (PET). Final merit is based on CBT marks only, but PET is qualifying in nature.
Each CBT includes questions on educational subjects plus General Knowledge, General Intelligence, English, and Aptitude. Minimum qualifying marks are 50% for UR/EWS/OBC and 40% for SC/ST/PwBD.

- No Fee – Women, SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Apprentices who completed 1-year Apprenticeship in AAI

Centres of Computer Based Test :
The Computer Based (online) examination will be conducted in venues across test centres in North Eastern Region. Tentatively, the cities of examination may be Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Naharlagun, Kohima, Agartala, Imphal, Aizwal and Shillong.
